Bernard Osher Foundation and National Resource Center

The Bernard Osher Foundation currently supports 124 Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes on university and college campuses in 50 states (plus the District of Columbia). Each Osher Institute reflects the culture of its own university and learning community.

The Foundation also supports a National Resource Center at Northwestern University, which facilitates the exchange of opinions, solutions, and experiences among OLLIs and serves as a source for best practices on lifelong learning.

About OLLI at UNLV

At the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNLV, our mission is to challenge your mind and stimulate your spirit. If you're a retired or semi-retired adult interested in becoming a part of a spirited community of engaged learners, we offer you learning activities designed to enhance your understanding of the world—from the historic, to the cultural, to the social—using a variety of non-credit learning formats.

For more than 20 years OLLI at UNLV has been the epicenter for lifelong learning in the greater Las Vegas area, offering an array of thought-provoking academic and cultural offerings each semester.  Each class is a partnership between the members and instructor, and all are without tests or grades. Our volunteer instructors are OLLI members who bring a wide range of professional and personal experience to our curriculum. Your registration fee grants you unlimited access to classes for the entire term at any of our eight campus locations.
